Games turned into movies are often very bad, sometimes so bad even Rifftrax or MST3K can’t redeem them; I am hoping this is one of the exceptions. Donnie Darko was convoluted and dark, but executed with a good deal of precision, and it is that kind of attention to detail that could be critical to pull off a story where short time-hops are a hook. I like the trailer for this movie, and I will buy the ticket in the hopes that it will deliver on the potential; I am really hoping they give it the Disney adventure ride treatment like they did with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. I can use all the silly adventure fun I can get!

I don’t know why but I’m not excited about Price of Persia at all. I see the Donnie Darko guy and he confuses me.

Everybody forgets some classic choices when they post a best of list; that’s why the comments are always fun to read and respond to. My own opinion, if they would have done an SG14 (or whatever number) spin-off staring Baldwin’s team, I would have been there for it.

Ack, Adam Baldwin’s bit totally slipped my mind while I was writing my entry! That is why I usually try to avoid writing “top # moments” type blogs, I always end up kicking myself for forgetting something.
But I agree, I loved Adam Baldwin in this episode.
