OK Go is an amazing band, making excellent music with some truly unique videos to go with them. This time around we have the track I Won’t Let You Down, which features their signature out-of-left-field choreography, which I always find amazing to watch. In fact I have to admit that for some of these I enjoy watching the videos even more than listening to the music. As usual, they have a much more interactive version of the video online, and you can find this one here. I also appreciate that you can buy the videos of their songs from the band, not just the MP3s (get the link from their YouTube page). I don’t know what those things they are riding are, they look like a cross between a Segway and a motorized unicycle to me, but whatever they are I would love to try one out; they look like a lot of fun.
With time travel at the core of the story, Terminator Genisys is poised for a reboot in ways orther movies haven’t been able to touch, spinning off its own parallel timeline as part of the acknowledged plot. I loved the first two films in the franchise, the ones after not so much. This trailer makes me want to be in the theaters for a Terminator movie for the first time in a long while; hope to see you there. Too bad we have to wait until July of next year.
Seventh Son is a nice looking fantasy adventure which should be on the big screen around February 6th. The film is based on Joseph Delaney’s book series The Last Apprentice, also called Spooks. I am looking forward to this one, and I think I have time to catch up with all the books before I sit down in the theater.
This tasty little animation is called Orbitas, and was put together by the students at PrimerFrame, an animation school. Some of the student created productions have won awards, and after watching this gem it will be obvious why. You should take this as inspiration to build your own.
The Age of Adaline is a story about a woman who does not age, as the world changes around her. It is an epic romantic drama, her story taking place over the span of 10 decades, and based on the trailer it looks worth checking out. It will be on the bigh screen on April 24th.
Somehow I can’t get excited over The Pyramid this week, another in a long line of cursed tomb films. The fact that this plot line has been done to death probably has something to do with that. This will be a good weekend to catch up with the TV series I haven’t had time to get through yet this year.
