It is Comic-Con weekend again, and the trailers are everywhere. This one is for Bright, a Netflix exclusive movie about an alternate universe LA, where humans share the world with a huge range of Magical creatures. Staring Will Smith as a cop who was not ready for what he finds himself in the middle of, I am looking forward to seeing it on December 22nd.

This will only be running until Friday or so, but it is amazing. The singer is Beatie Wolfe, and the presentation is best viewed with your VR headset on. This augmented reality experience is in a 360 degree virtual environment, with the visual component changing with each repetition of her new album Raw Space. She created this in collaboration with interactive creative firm Design I/O and the famous engineering team from Nokia Bell Labs. You can get a lot more detail about this unique performance directly from the You Tube Live page, and get counted as a viewer in the process.

I loved three out of these four series quite a bit, and the other one is OK if not fantastic, but the payoff comes in August when the launch The Defenders. They posted the first full trailer from it earlier this week, and it does look like they will come together nicely.

After a decade of various US companies trying to bring a live-action version of Death Note to the screen, Netflix has finally posted the first trailer for their upcoming release. It will be very interesting to compare it with the Asian live-action TV series, which you can watch online for free at the previous link, which will take you to Crunchyroll. The Netflix version will be hitting the small screen on August 25th.
