Terrestrial Human

For 2 days only Project Itoh: Harmony will be on the big screen May 17th and 18th only. The Philip K. Dick Award-winning novel by Satoshi Itō (often known as Project Itoh), Harmony, is an amazingly twisted and complex story that fully deserved that award. If you haven’t had a chance to read the original book yet, now you can see its film version. Some of us will be lucky and have it hit nearby, I intend to be one of the folks in the theater when it does.

Kubo and The Two Strings is an epic action/adventure story set in a fantasy version of Japan, where Kubo was doing fine, until he accidentally awakened a vengeful spirit. On the run, Kubo must solve the mystery of his fallen father, the great samurai warrior in order to save himself and his village. Good thing he has his magical Shamisen with him! This one will be hitting the big screen around August, I am looking forward to it.

A new VR ride lives on top of a 60 story building in Tokyo, which lets you have the experience of being shot out of a cannon, off the roof and across the city. They have another VR ride on the same top floor I am much more likely to go for, where you swing on a swing while floating above the city. The place is referred to as Sky Circus, and it looks like an entertaining thing to do with the spectacular view. Thanks to VR Scout for the heads up on this one.
