Nano have recorded some great Anime tracks, like the OP for B’Toom (the first song here), and some quality non-Anime music, like Hysteria, the third song shared on this page. Then there is Nevereverland…
Yes, this one certainly looks like silly fun, and continues the 8 Bit Silly Theme we began yesterday. The Pixels Movie assumes some aliens intercepted Voyager, got the data off the disc included with the ship, and got upset. The result was an invasion of 8 Bit video games out to exterminate mankind.
This video is what you would get if you built the philosophy of Nietzsche as an 8-Bit Video Game. Maybe not what you might have expected, but certainly something that was a logical extrapolation of the process.
I suspect Hotel Transylvania II will be cute, silly fun. In fact this trailer seems to guarantee it. Possibly even a little too cute, but I am willing to risk that.
There are a lot of great apps to allow you to do video production for TV, Movies, or other purposes, and the folks over at the BBC have put together a video about their favorites. Using these resources might allow you to create something quite unique, and there were one or two I had not heard of before watching this. I have to also mention this is my first use of the new BBC EMB, the BBC Video Embedding interface they have just made available. It takes up a much larger screen footprint than any of the other embedding structures I like to use, including the previous Greedy Gus winner, Vimeo, but I consider that a small price to pay for the right to include their quality productions on my pages.
This week we get Insurgent, the second story in the Divergent series. The Divergent trilogy (which seems to have either 4 or 5 books in it) is a YA series written by Veronica Roth, full of action and adventure. Since it was so popular it became a good choice for converting into a series of movies, and most likely the film I will be enjoying this weekend.
