The Space Shuttle Discovery made a flight around town the other day before landing at Dulles Airport on its way to its new home at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. A friend of mine grabbed this picture as it circled the airport for the second time.
I had an amazing time in London, and brought back a boatload of photos. I haven’t had a chance to process them for posting quite yet, but wanted to share just a few tonight. The first one is the Tardis console I am most familiar with, used by the 4th through 6th Doctor, if I am remembering right. This was just one of a collection of exhibits tied into the Doctor Who Experience, which was pretty much the reason I made the trip in the first place. The second is a snap of a candy store right around the corner from where I was staying. I did not take the picture because this is the last stop on the official Harry Potter tour of London (although it is), but because they had a wonderful poster in the window advertising Shrek, The Musical made entirely out of jelly beans.
