The obvious winner this week is Star Wars: Rogue One, arguably the best film in the franchise so far. In Anime, Naruto Shippūden Set 30 contains episodes 375 through 388 for more Ninja goodness; for reference, they are currently streaming episode 500 from Japan. Hyperdimension Neptunia is being released in a S.A.V.E. edition, which makes now a great time to add this game-to-anime project to your collection.
This is the week we finally get Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, a movie I have been waiting for all year. There is also supposedly the 2014 Fantasy called The Garden that my be finally coming to some theaters, but I didn’t see enough evidence of that to make me very confident. Not that it really matters to me, since I will be at the Star Wars film.
No way to know yet, but if the trailer is any indication, this could be the best film of the franchise to date. ‘Nuff said!
The best so far, yesterday the Star Wars: Rogue One Olympic Trailer aired and was posted on line, so for the 27 people world wide who have not seen it yet, here you go! Enjoy.
And the 3 new Han Solo movies; Games Radar has been doing an excellent job of covering the Sci-Fi scene since they picked up the SFX web site and added it to their online team. Click the first link to read about the trilogy of Han Solo movies, and check out the video for a quick run down of the con from the other week.
I love Filk, and a lot of it is coming from the Star Wars universe these days. The first track is Hello (From The Dark Side), the second is Leia’s Call Me Maybe, and the 3rd is Jedi and I Know It. Yes, these are all very silly, but that is a big chunk of the fun for this kind of fan creation.
