DC is taking one of their darker Parallel Earth story lines with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will be coming out next year. I thought they might want to do something a bit more positive for their first theatrical presentation of the Justice League, but I would have been wrong. There isn’t a lot to their web site quite yet, since the release date of March 2016 is still quite a ways off. That date has changed twice so far, and may do so again.
They have been talking about the live action Attack On Titan Movie and/or Miniseries for a while now, but up until recently we only had the shortest of teases, and that one car commercial. We finally had the first movie trailer come out last month, and I forgot to post it, so here it is. The movies break the story into two parts, the first hitting the big screen on August 1st, and the second one a month latter on September 19th. The miniseries is three episode long, features the same actors as the movies in the same roles, and is airing this August on Japanese streaming service DTV between the two film release dates. It will focus on the service and support staff, the development of the 3D maneuver gear, Titan research, and other story elements that don’t involve breaking the budget with constant FX heavy Titan attacks. The one issue I still have to solve is figuring out how to apply for the English language version of the DTV programming, which I have yet to locate. Thanks to the folks at Rocket News 24 for the heads up on this one.
A completely unsolicited Age of Ultron featurette in which we get a glimpse of the fun and hijinks behind the scenes.
This came out a while ago, but I had a chance to post it finally and thought that I should do so. It will be on the big screen in only a couple of weeks at this point, and I am quite excited to see how well they do with this one.
Daredevil looks good but the next Avengers looks incredible. I can’t wait to see this one on the big screen!
We finally get a look at a decent length trailer for the upcoming Netflix/Marvel project Daredevil. It will begin streaming on April 10th, giving Marvel a whole new flavor of outlet for their stories.
