It is finally time for Captain America: Civil War to hit the big screen, and I am ready! It already pulled in $84 million in its first three days in various countries around the world, putting it on a par with Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The new Doctor Strange Official Trailer is out, and it looks like yet another Marvel masterpiece is coming. It is expected to be on the big screen on the first weekend in November in North America, shortly after its release in the UK and New Zealand.
The primary option this week is Deadpool, a unique anti-hero in the Marvel pantheon. I will definitely be in the theater for that one, but that isn’t to say it is the only option. There are two music inspired films as well, Bigger Than the Beatles being about the Beach Boys and songwriter Charlie Manson, and Punk’s Dead: SLC Punk 2. I don’t think either of those are in too many theaters, and the only web site I could find for the first one had been hacked and taken over by a fashion blogger, so I am sticking with the Marvel offering this time around.
Apocalypse was the mutant who could absorb the powers of other mutants, controlling them until he had drained them dry. After thousands of years he is back, and wants to remake the world as his own plaything. X-Men: Apocalypse will arrive on the big screen on May 27, 2016. I assume no one is surprised that I am looking forward to seeing the latest addition to the franchise, since it just seems to get better every movie from my perspective.
Apparently, they decided to post the Deadpool trailer just before midnight last night. The first one is the Green Band Trailer, the second is the NSFW red band version. I am definitely looking forward to seeing this next year.
According to yesterday’s Deadpool Trailer Trailer, the Deadpool trailer will be here today. So far, I haven’t found it anywhere, but this one is worth a grin.
